2026 Royal Culture Festival
In the spring of 2026, a program themed around the tastes and daily culture of royal women of the Joseon Dynasty was held at Tongmyeongjeon Hall in Changgyeonggung Palace. During the program, Jeongeun Yang, CEO of Hohodang, introduced traditional bojagi knot-tying techniques, and participants had the opportunity to complete their own bojagi by hand.
Tongmyeongjeon Hall was historically used as the living quarters of the queen, and this program was designed to allow visitors to experience the aesthetics of royal women’s culture and traditional Korean craftsmanship in a contemporary way.

For The Emperor’s Table program, the emperor’s dining setting was recreated at Jungmyeongjeon Hall in Deoksugung Palace, featuring Hohodang’s traditional tea tableware, ceremonial wrapping cloths (yedangbo), and nobang chaehwa floral arrangements.
