KCDF Korea Craft & Design Foundation

2025

We produced the 2025 New Year calendar for the Korea Craft & Design Foundation (KCDF).

Hohodang was responsible for the entire process—from the selection of classical Korean poems, the choice of hanji paper, to the design of a silk-lined cotton bojagi cover—creating a project that embodies “the colors of Korea.”

Each month pairs seasonal plants with classical poetry: pine (January), camellia (February), magnolia (March), pear blossom (April), pomegranate (May), elm (June), pink (July), lotus (August), silver grass (September), chrysanthemum (October), ivy (November), and plum blossom (December). The design was structured so that each page turn evokes a distinct sense of season and atmosphere.
